Hmmm. Sudden urge to re-read all the Animorphs books. Because that’s what potential grad students do.
This is gonna be fun.

So here's the deal
I’ve had this awkward string of Internet fails over the past few days and now I’m forced to resort to typing text posts on my phone. Gross.
But in other news, it’s been a super week:
• found a fun site at my CRM job
• tiny raise at Dunkin Donuts has taken effect
• first grad school acceptance arrived
• best boyfriend

Little Bird
Little bird beating on the window
You’re flying too fast
Toward the bulletproof glass
That will snap your neck in two.
I know it’s pretty inside
This dream house built of stone
But the windows are closed
To keep out the cold
And the wildlife like you.
So persistent, little bird
Flap your wings until they burn
Until you feel them break
Just keep trying if you must
You won’t get past the window...

The project is spearheaded by co-owner Pat Conway, who was inspired by a visit to the University of Chicago, his alma mater.”
